The public website and the members area are the same product
Most alumni platforms hand your members a login screen and leave the public website to somebody else. AlumDeck gives you both from one admin panel, so the reunion you just published appears on the public events page, in the members area and in the next newsletter without being retyped anywhere.
That matters more than it sounds. The majority of your alumni will never create an account. They will see one page, once, because a classmate sent them a link. Events, news and giving all have a public face for exactly that person.
It also removes a job nobody wants. There is no separate website to keep in step, no second content editor to buy, and no argument about which of the two is out of date.

None of these sell software on their own, and none of them appear on a comparison table. Each one costs you a week of somebody's time when it turns out to be absent after you have committed.
Job board
Alumni post openings at their own employers and current students and recent leavers see them. It is a proper module with listings, expiry and moderation, not a page of links somebody updates by hand. Turn it off and the menu entry goes with it.
Cookie consent
A consent banner with categories is built in, so you are not bolting a third-party script onto a site that holds alumni records.
Maintenance mode
One switch puts a holding page in front of the public site while you fix something or load a batch of records. Admins carry on working behind it.
Module switches
Every module can be turned off. A school that does not fundraise can hide giving completely, and the navigation, the dashboard and the search all adjust to match.
Per-page SEO
Title, description and slug on every page, post and event, so your alumni site can be found by the people looking for it.
Ready for other languages
Interface text lives in Laravel translation files instead of being hard-coded, so a translator can produce another language without touching the application. The honest version: AlumDeck ships in English only. Another language is work for you or your developer, and we do not pretend otherwise.
